Online Photography Workshops

What with being homebound and the whole social distancing thing, I have taken my in-person workshops online, and at a discount for the months of April and May. They are all open to, and appropriate for, all levels.

The topics:

  • Seeing Like a Photographer: Approaching a scene intentionally focusing on colour theory, compositional guidelines, and visual storytelling.

  • Portraiture: Posing, photographer positioning, and getting the most out of any subject - whether they are a professional model or someone who is very uncomfortable in front of the camera.

  • Visual Storytelling: How to create a strong visual narrative in your photos, whether you are exploring an exotic location, or simply documenting your home-life. We will discuss the ethics of street and documentary photography, and their importance.

Each of these workshops have been facilitated multiple times in the past both in small private groups, and on a larger scale such as at flagship Apple Stores in New York and London.

Basic info:

  • Included in all workshops: An assignment based on the topic to be completed at your leisure. A fully personalised critique on said assignment to be delivered within 48 hours of submission.

  • Length: 2 hours

  • Price: For the months of April and May, all workshops are only $5USD to attend. Full payment is required to reserve your spot.

  • Participants: Max 10 participants per workshop to enable discussion-based learning.
